Talking
January 22, 2007Its a wonder how much talk can affect one person.
I had a talk today with a friend, and as we recollected from the treasures I call memories, I retrieved a certain quote.
"If you can't cry because of her, don't love her."
My friend and I had a discussion about this, it was fascinating. We both agreed that love and pain was similar to light and dark. Neither can't exist without the other. We must realize that in loving a person, we must be also be ready to receive pain from that person. If you are not ready, then do not do so, remain friends and enjoy it.
We must realize that loving a person is not protecting the person from pain but enduring that pain with her. We all need pain, we all need love, for both are powerful tools for us to grow.
